I've spent 20 years as a family advocate and community leader. My public service includes classrooms, boardrooms, and courtrooms throughout our region.
I am a businesswoman with experience in real estate and non-profit management, and I currently run my own business training leaders.
My passion for families led me to become a youth director at a Presbyterian church in Carmel. My public service includes being a CASA -- a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children -- a member of the Inmate Welfare Fund, and a family liaison in the justice system. I also served as a member of a Civil Grand Jury for two terms, overseeing claims of government management, corruption, and accountability.
I want to build bridges, create solutions, and pass policies that allow our children and grandchildren to live, work, and thrive on the Central Coast for years to come. That starts with education. I want to see more education policies that give parents, not bureaucrats the right to decide our children's future. I want to see education policies that focus on academic results, not bringing agendas into the classroom. A sustainable future for our region also includes finding ways to increase housing stock and supporting businesses that can provide head-of-household jobs and economic opportunity. I believe our legislature has exerted too much control in these areas, spending more time on education ideology than increasing our score of 42nd overall in the nation, with abysmal marks in mathematics and reading. Our legislature has spent more time passing taxes that burden businesses across the state, especially small businesses that account for 99% of jobs in California, than promoting innovation and economic growth.
I want to pioneer policies that support small businesses, equip parents, and protect public safety!
If you're tired of business-as-usual in our state capitol, tired of career politicians who are funded by Sacramento lobbying groups, tired of policies that put your family and your business last, then vote for me.
Vote for change, for common sense, and for someone who listens to and cares about our district!
