My Plans

The pandemic has hurt our city budget and local businesses. It has exposed systemic racial and economic inequities. Strong value based leadership and a fresh perspectives and thoughts are important now more than ever before.

My vision for the City is to make Pacific Grove a smart City - a city that increases the quality of life for its citizens through sustainable development practices and intelligent decision-making.

My priorities are as follows:

• Create a safe, welcoming environment where residents live, work and see their businesses flourish. It is important to have an inclusive community where all people feel accepted.
• Support housing policies for people of all ages and income levels to live in PG. This is even more apparent during the current pandemic.
  
• Identify meaningful revenue streams to offset the two major shortfalls that we face today: the growing loss in revenue due to the pandemic and the City’s unfunded liability.
  
• Collaborate and establish strong relationships with the community and the neighboring regions and be transparent to the residents in every action.
  
• Ensure that every step in accordance with the City’s vision of preserving historic resources, promoting sustainable development and respecting the environment.
  
• Have safe and successful schools and improve the quality of life. I have a personal stake here with my 3 young children and with my own experience with providing family care to elders.
